Privacy Policy

What you give us. We only collect personal information when you choose to share it:

• When you book a discovery call (through Cal.com): your name, email address, and anything else you add to the booking form, such as your phone number, your practice website, and what you would like help with.
• When you email us: your email address, your name, and whatever you write to us.
• If you become a client: the details we need to run your project, such as your practice name, logo, photos, fees and policies, and billing details. How we handle client work is also set out in your written agreement with us.

What is collected automatically. When you visit the site, some information is collected automatically:

• Google Analytics: the pages you view, how you arrived (for example, a search engine or a link in an email), which of our buttons you click (such as “Book a call”), your approximate location (city or region, not your exact address), and your device, browser and screen size.
• Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights: page visits and page speed, counted in aggregate. These tools do not use cookies and do not identify individual visitors.
• Server logs: our hosting provider records technical details of each request, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure.

Please don’t send us client or patient information. This website and our discovery calls are about your practice’s website and marketing. We don’t need, and don’t ask for, any health information about you or the people you work with.

• To prepare for and hold the discovery call you booked, and to follow up afterwards.
• To reply to your questions and send you what you asked for, such as a proposal or a draft of your site.
• To deliver and support our services if you become a client, including billing.
• To understand which pages and messages help visitors, so we can improve the site.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.
• To meet our legal obligations and protect our rights.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our business. They process information only to provide their service to us:

• Vercel: hosts this website.
• Google: Google Analytics for site statistics, and Google Workspace for our email, calendar and video calls (Google Meet).
• Cal.com: runs our booking page and sends booking confirmations. When you book, Cal.com also handles your details under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if we believe in good faith that it’s needed to comply with legal process, protect our rights or property, or protect someone’s safety. If our business is ever sold or merged, information may move to the new owner, who would have to respect this policy.

Google Analytics uses cookies (small files stored by your browser, named _ga and _ga_…) to tell visits apart. Vercel’s analytics do not use cookies.

You can turn analytics off at any time:

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
• Install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Turning analytics off doesn’t change how the site works for you.

If you book a call or write to us, we’ll email you about that conversation. If we contacted you first, we found your business contact details on your practice’s public website or a public professional directory, and we use them only to tell you about our services.

You can stop our emails at any time: reply “unsubscribe” or “no thanks”, or write to hello@growmycounseling.com. We’ll stop within 10 business days.

• Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months, then deleted automatically.
• Booking details and emails are kept for as long as we’re in touch about working together. If we don’t end up working together, you can ask us to delete them at any time.
• Client records are kept for the length of the project and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting.

The whole site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only the people who need your information to work with you can access it, and our accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-step verification. No website or online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything that’s wrong;
• delete your information;
• stop emailing you.

Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have these rights by law. We give them to everyone. Email hello@growmycounseling.com with your request. We may need to confirm it’s really you before we act, and we’ll reply within 45 days. We won’t treat you differently for making a request.

We may keep some information when we have to, for example to finish work you asked for, keep records the law requires, or protect against fraud or security problems.

This site is for professionals running a practice. It isn’t meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Our site links to other services, such as our Cal.com booking page. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site, so we encourage you to read them.

Grow My Counseling is run by StellarDevs LLC. Our service providers store and process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. By using the site, you understand that your information may be processed outside the country you live in.

We’ll update this policy when our services, our tools or the law change. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we’ll say so clearly on the site.
